To create your formula, you’ll start by picking the base you want and clicking + CUSTOMIZE.

From there, you’ll go step-by-step through the configurator and choose the options you want (like scent, plus any enhancers you’d like to add). At the end, you’ll see a quick review of what you selected, then you’ll hit Create My Formulation to add it to your cart.

Checkout is where you place your deposit—that’s what officially submits your formulation request to the lab so the team can start preparing it.

Enhancers are the optional add-ons you can choose to tailor the base formula to your brand and goals.
They’re grouped into types (like Scent, Botanical, and Active) and each one adds a specific benefit or “direction” to the finished formula (for example: hydration support, soothing, brightening, firming, etc.).
 
All 3 enhancers are included within your formulation cost. 
Bench engagement is the hands-on lab time required when your request goes beyond a straightforward “base + a couple enhancers.”
In plain English: it’s when a chemist needs to do extra work at the bench to:
  • test compatibility/stability,
  • adjust the formula,
  • troubleshoot texture/scent/viscosity,
  • or handle more complex customization.
It’s basically the “this needs a real chemist to work on it” layer vs. a simple off-the-shelf customization.
